Never Give Up!

I have got a lot of feedback from the last post on commitment.
I told you that video was powerful and it would definitely get you thinking.

That is Team Hoyt. Their story is unbelievable and you can always Google them to find the complete story.
There are so many life lessons that could be pulled from their amazing story. Today I will touch on Never Giving Up!

The son(Rick) was born with the umbilical cord coiled around his neck which cut off the oxygen to his brain. The parents were told that there would be no hope for their child's development.
The doctors told them they should just put him away because he'd be a vegetable all his life.

They Did Not Give Up!
They brought their son home determined to raise him as normal as possible
Imagine the rejection, criticism and abuse that this family dealt with.
Still Never Gave Up!

The father, Dick is 65 years now and they have been competing in races for 25 years as a team. That is not even the best part. Check this out....

The son(Rick) has:
He went on to graduate high school.
He went on to graduate college.
He has competed in over 30 marathons and a ton of other races.
He now lives by himself.
He has a full Time Job.

The parents were determined and so was he!
You know how easy it would have been to just give up. To just quit.
The route that they took was not the easy one. Of course it was challenging, of course it was difficult, of course there were times that they questioned the outcome.
But Did Not Give Up!

That is life!
Life is not easy...
The course is going to be challenging...
You may not always know the outcome...
But one thing is without question....You will succeed if YOU Do Not Quit!

We see it all the time in the fitness industry. People want to have a great body, they want to be healthy, they want to fit into that dress size, etc...
But when times get tough they give up, they quit!

I want to tell you today that now is your time!
Take hold of what you deserve.... Go get it! You can do it!

And next time times get tough, and you feel like quitting do me a favor think about the Hoyt family and their son and then you will realize that your situation is not worth quitting over.

NEVER GIVE UP!
